The Fort Delaware Cornet Band is a Victorian-era brass band that performs authentic Civil War-era music, primarily focusing on the style and repertoire of the time. They represent an impression of the original Artillery Brass Band that was stationed at Fort Delaware during the Civil War.

Authentic Period Instruments and Music: The band plays on original and replica Civil War-era instruments, performing music popular during that time. This includes patriotic tunes, quicksteps, and other pieces common in the mid-19th century.
Civil War Reenactment Focus: They have an extensive history in the Civil War reenacting community and perform in period reproduction Union uniforms.
Educational Performances: The band performs at historical events, concerts, and educational programs throughout the Delaware Valley region (New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Maryland).
